Catherine holds a 1st-class honours degree in BA French. She studied translation at the British Institute in Paris and in 2012, she completed her training with Susanne James Associates, which prepares professional translators for the Diploma in Translation.
Her translation work to date includes assignments for a number of French businesses in the hospitality industry. Recent projects have included translating a compilation of local history for the first town to be awarded the prestigious Village Étape label in France, and a permanent exhibition of the work of the radical French female painter Suzanne Valadon.
